1/11/2010 TBA to help Texas banks with critical liquidity needs

Bankers helping bankers is the purpose of TBA’s Liquidity Assistance Program, which was developed to help any Texas bank or thrift experiencing an extreme liquidity situation that requires measures beyond the normal liquidity outlets. TBA is compiling a list of banks that are willing to place deposits with those banks requesting assistance. The information-sharing program puts both parties together—the banks needing assistance and those willing to provide it.
