Texas Department of Banking names CIO

Texas Banking Commissioner Charles G. Cooper appointed Jesse H. Garcia Jr. as the Department’s chief information officer. Garcia will be responsible for the daily operations and future technological advancement plans of the Information Technology Division.

Of the appointment, Commissioner Cooper stated, “I am confident that Mr. Garcia’s information technology and security expertise will give the Department the ability to continue to improve our technology transformation strategy and create operational advances and efficiencies.”
