Scholarships

The Texas Bankers Foundation, in association with some of the top graduate banking schools in the U.S., provides scholarships to deserving Texas bankers to encourage and promote excellence in the fields of banking and finance. Employees of TBA-member banking institutions who meet the schools' admissions requirements are eligible.

The Foundation is also offering the Future Banker Scholarship to undergraduate students in the banking programs at Sam Houston State University and Texas A&M University. Eligibility requirements include a minimum 2.8 GPA and applicant completing a banking or regulatory internship.

Robert E. Harris Memorial Scholarship

(Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison)
One-half of tuition for each of the three years of the program.

$2,500 toward tuition for a junior or senior SWGSB student

(Executive MBA in Banking and Financial Institutions at Sam Houston State University)
$1,500 toward tuition for a first or second-year student.
