Peer Group Meetings

TBA offers several programs for bankers to network in a relaxed, informal setting. These meetings are designed to build community and give bankers the opportunity to exchange ideas, dissect problems and discuss relevant topics and issues with their peers.

Executive Forums

Take advantage of this exclusive opportunity to join executive level banking professionals, like yourself, in pertinent conversations specific to your management roles. There are four Forums that cater to each executive position: CEO, CFO, Senior Lender and IT & Security Officer.

Forums are typically broken into two groups capped at 20 participants, which are formed based on bank asset size and market. This ensures all participants can relate to the topics and competition is minimal. The facilitator will encourage everyone to submit topics of interest prior to each Forum to further customize each meeting.

*Forums are for TBA Bank Members only*
Note that size is limited, so claim your seat before your Forum is full.

Each Forum meets three times per calendar year for one day. Meetings will either be held at TBA Headquarters in Austin. The CFO, Senior Lender and IT/Security Forums are broken into two groups based on bank asset size and market. If your registration is approved for 2024, you will be assigned your group by TBA staff to ensure that topics are relatable to you and competition is minimal.

Volunteer to host!

Hosting a Huddle

As a host, you have the chance to foster the conversation with your group, inform them about what your bank is doing in this sphere, and participate, as well. TBA hopes this service is impactful to your banking community by giving banking professionals a space for open dialogue, networking, and resource sharing.

Who attends?

Banking professionals in your area attend the Huddles. We will help you market to TBA members specifically by providing you with an email list to reach out to, but you know your community best! Non-members are more than welcome to attend.

When and where?

That is the beauty of being a host … you get to decide when and where! You can turn this into a breakfast meeting, happy hour, luncheon, coffee break — whatever works best for you. A typical Huddle will last around two hours — but this is completely up to you — and will take place at your bank (it can also be a virtual meeting or hybrid).
