Compliance & ERM School
Both Compliance Management Systems (CMS) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) are closely aligned and essential to maintaining stability, integrity and an impactful community presence. Regulatory scrutiny around ERM continues to increase for banks of all sizes. As a result, we’ve incorporated ERM into this year’s curriculum for a comprehensive learning experience.
All sessions will be recorded and available for future playback for virtual attendees.

Lunch: Noon – 1:00 PM
Virtual Attendees: Registrants will receive instructions in advance to access the online class and download the materials. Registrants will also have access to the session recordings and materials for 90 days.
Cancellation/Refund Policy:
Cancellations or substitutions must be submitted in writing. Please email to education@texasbankers.com. Cancellations received on or before September 24 will receive a refund less a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations received September 25 – October 1 will receive a refund less a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellations received after October 1 or “no shows” will not be refunded. Extenuating circumstances are reviewed on an individual basis. Substitutions are permitted without penalty.
Texas State Board of Public Accountancy: 7 CPE Credit Hours (there are no
educational prerequisites)
ABA Professional Certifications: Application for CE credit is pending approval.
Attendees will be notified once the credit approval is received.
Meet our Speaker
Brett Goodnack, JD, CAMS
Brett Goodnack, JD, CAMS, works with Compliance Alliance in the role of Compliance Advisor. He graduated from Duquesne University (Kline) School of Law, achieving the William Arthur Hascall McKinney Award for Excellence in Law, and working in the Preliminary Hearings Division of the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender. Brett earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Crime, Law, and Justice from Penn State University.
Brett brings with him over a decade of professional passion and practice in due diligence and risk mitigation in the financial services industry, having served as an advisor both consulting to and advocating on behalf of diverse financial institutions. Most recently, he acted as Associate Director for a multinational investment bank in their anti-money laundering and KYC regulatory space. Brett has a gamut of experience in the field of banking compliance, ranging from fiduciary and trust administration, to the foundational development of risk-based operating procedures and processes for governance consulting firms.
