Texas Bankers Hall of Fame unveils 2025 inductees

The Texas Bankers Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees, celebrating five distinguished bankers: Sam H. Burris, Jr., Charles G. Cooper, Harvey P. Hartenstine, Robert W. “Bobby” Hoxworth, and William A. Nesbitt. These honorees will be recognized for their exceptional achievements and significant contributions to their communities and the banking industry during the 12th Annual Texas Bankers Hall of Fame Gala. The event will take place on May 1, 2025, at the Sam Houston State University (SHSU) campus in Huntsville.

Established by the Smith-Hutson Endowed Chair of Banking at SHSU, the Texas Bankers Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the banking profession and have played a pivotal role in shaping the Texas banking industry. See more about the honorees here.
