USDA’s Farmer Bridge Assistance program now open

The United States Department of Agriculture’s Farmer Bridge Assistance program portal is now open for American farmers. The department is providing $11 billion through one-time bridge payments to farmers, with an additional $1 billion available for additional commodities.  

This program is designed to be a bridge until the additional benefits of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OB3) are available. Producers have until April 17, 2026, to submit their completed applications.
